Smoking

Like some college health habits, smoking can begin when you arrive on campus. Some students enjoy smoking while others smoke to lose weight or manage anxiety. The NCHA 2004 campus survey revealed that very few Caltech students smoke.

But, if you do smoke and are considering quitting, take a peak at The College Tobacco Prevention Resource website to learn more.

Another excellent resource is QuitNet, an on-line community that provides the necessary support and resources to help you stop smoking.

You can learn more about adolescent smoking at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.  There are tip sheets, scientific studies and many other valuable resources to help you stop smoking.
